1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or booking a service with Stone Automotive, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
We provide automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services. All work is performed by ASE-certified technicians. Specific services, availability, and pricing are described on our service pages and in written quotes provided before any work begins.
3. Estimates & Pricing
All quotes are written and itemized by part and labor before work starts. Quotes are estimates based on the diagnosis at the time. If additional work is required after a quote is approved, we will contact you for authorization before proceeding. No work is added to your bill without your explicit approval.
4. Diagnostic Fee
A diagnostic fee of $45 applies to diagnostic services. This fee is waived if you approve the recommended repair with us. The fee covers the time and equipment used to identify the issue, regardless of whether you proceed with a repair.
5. Warranty
Repairs are backed by our 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty on parts and labor for most repairs, as detailed on our Warranty & Pricing page. Warranty coverage applies to the specific repair performed and is transferable if you sell the vehicle within the term. Exclusions are limited and disclosed in writing.
6. Authorization & Consent
By approving a quote, you authorize us to perform the described work on your vehicle. You are responsible for payment of authorized work at the quoted price. We retain the right to hold a vehicle until payment is received in full.
7. Parts & Old Components
We use OEM or quality OEM-equivalent parts, your choice where applicable. Removed parts are available to you on request. Unless requested, core components may be returned to our suppliers for credit or recycling.
8. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of authorized work. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Returned payments or chargebacks for authorized work may result in additional fees and, where permitted by law, a lien on the vehicle.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the repair performed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services provided. This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Vehicle Condition
You represent that you own the vehicle or are authorized to authorize service on it. You are responsible for removing personal belongings before service. We are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles.
11. Website Use
You agree to use our website lawfully and not to disrupt, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it. Content on this site, including text, images, and logos, is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
12. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of GA without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in or near Griffin, GA.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
